Dear Patients:
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health and wellbeing. Together we have been through some very challenging times. We have made changes and sacrifices in all our aspects of life, performing selfless acts in keeping ourselves and fellow men, women, and children safe. While many things have changed, some things have remained the same: Performing all aspects of dentistry to a High Standard of Care. This includes researching the best technology, materials, and procedures in order to keep the most optimum health possible.
This also includes creating a safe and sterile Environment for our patients and staff. Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association, The U.S. Centers for Disease Control, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Rest assured that will continue with past and updated guidelines and go above and beyond in order to keep the safety and health of all our dental family. In a nutshell… We have always been a safe place but now we are even safer.
Our Dental Office will be reopening on May 29th!
You will see some of these changes when it is your time for you next appointment:
- Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. We will also confirm that there are not any changes upon arrival.
- We will update medical health history, go over treatment, and even take payment over the phone in order to decrease paper work and time.
- We ask you to wear a mask when entering the office and when exiting the treatment room…Of course you can remove the mask when we give you the “open wide”
- Please call our office upon arrival and our assistant or hygienist will have your room/chair ready when you arrive!
- Upon entering we will have antibacterial soap for you to wash your hands prior to coming to the front desk where Anett or Janet will greet you with a smile and their trusty no touch thermometer to check your temperature.
- When you see us we will look a little different! Not only have I gained some weight while being away(ughh)….but myself, Dr Effie and the staff will be wearing the safest protective equipment in order to keep with our high standards. Don’t worry it’s still us under the space suits.
We look so forward to seeing you again in our office and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep every patient safe in our practice.
One positive thing these times have brought us is the awareness of how much we enjoyed our work and you the people that made this practice a Happy Place….
even though it’s a Dental Office!…. Love you all.
Drs Tom and Effie Grias
